The Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights (Teutonic Order) Ulrich von Jungingen highly evaluated the diplomatic role of Ona, wife of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytautas. Grand Master sought to win the favor of Ona. In 1408 Ulrich von Jungingen made presents for Ona musical instruments. Ulrich von Jungingen's policy of confrontation with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland sparked the Polish–Lithuanian–Teutonic War and lead to disaster for his Order, and his own death, at the Battle of Grunwald in 1410.
