TYPOART's mission – to educate children and inspire people of all generations for the only one purpose – to make the world a safer place. Develop your sense of humour learning a little something about the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, important kingdom in ancient history, but sadly forgotten and disappeared from public knowledge. The rulers of Lithuania and members of their families were real people – dads, mothers, brothers, wives, sons, daughters, grandchildren, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-grandchildren. We try to reveal stories and create characters of the most famous rulers of Lithuania of XIII-XIV century. The collection is always in progress, from time to time is enriched with new characters. Changes are possible, as characters and products are being continuously improved. Stay tuned.

Among the booty retrieved from the field at Grunwald were fifty-six flags of the Teutonic Order or cities affiliated with the Teutonic Order. The flags were brought to Kraków and hung in the cathedral to commemorate the victory. Those, or reproductions of them, hang today in Wawel Castle. It survives as a rich source for turn-of-the-15th-century Central Europe heraldic style.
TYPOART reviews the main heraldry of the Battle of Grunwald. The collection is in progress, from time to time is inriched with new items. Changes are possible, as drawings and details are adjusted with historical sources.

The Gediminids were a dynasty of monarchs in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania that reigned from the 14th to the 16th century. According to history King Gediminas had 7 (8?) sons and 4 daughters: Manvydas, Narimantas, Algirdas, Vytautas (?), Kęstutis, Karijotas, Liubartas, Jaunutis, Aldona, Elžbieta, Eufemija, Aigusta. It is possible that Gediminas had two more daughters. The chronicle of John of Winterthur contains a reference to Gediminas' eight sons. The names of seven sons can be found in various written sources, while the identity of the eighth remains disputed. It is uncertain how many wives Gediminas had. The Bychowiec Chronicle mentions three wives of Gediminas: Vida from Courland; Olga from Smolensk; and Jewna from Polotsk.
